Korean Bilingual Transportation Operations ManagerPosition SummaryThe Operations Manager is responsible for end-to-end operational execution of hydrogen drayage and rail shuttle services in the LA/LB market.This role oversees customer accounts, carrier (execution partner) management, dispatch planning, hydrogen fleet utilization, and yard/office operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transportation performance.The position requires strong operational leadership, real-time problem-solving capability, and the ability to manage both internal drivers and external carriers in a fast-paced port environment.Responsibilities & Essential Functions1. Operational LeadershipOwn end-to-end operations for LA/LB hydrogen drayageDevelop dispatch strategy and optimize fleet utilizationEnsure on-time performance and operational efficiency2. Customer & Carrier ManagementManage day-to-day relationships with key customers and ensure service performance (on-time delivery, communication, issue resolution)Oversee execution partners (carriers); monitor performance, enforce service standards, and manage capacity allocationResolve service escalations, appointment issues, and billing/BOL discrepancies3. Dispatch Planning & ExecutionDevelop and manage daily dispatch plans for port drayage and rail ramp shuttle operationsAssign loads, monitor real-time execution, and adjust dispatch to optimize utilization and service levelsCoordinate port/terminal appointments and ensure efficient container flow4. Core Transportation OperationsOversee key transportation activities:o Port drayage (LA/LB customer locations) 3483 Satellite Blvd, Suite 101S,Duluth, GA 30096o Rail ramp container shuttle operationsDrive KPIs including turns per truck, on-time performance, and asset utilization5. Hydrogen Fleet Management & MaintenanceManage hydrogen vehicle operations, including daily readiness and utilizationCoordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs with vendorsMonitor hydrogen fueling operations and ensure operational continuity6. Yard & Office OperationsOversee yard operations including container/chassis management and space utilizationEnsure proper inventory tracking of containers, chassis, and fleet assetsMaintain safe, compliant, and efficient working environment across yard and office7. Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, CARB, and port regulationsMonitor driver qualification files (DQ), ELD/HOS compliance, and incident reportingLead safety meetings and enforce company safety policies8. Team Leadership & Performance ManagementLead and manage dispatch/operations teamSet performance expectations and monitor KPIsCoach and develop team members9.
