TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• High-volume Labor & Delivery unit with 400+ births per month and 21 private labor and delivery suites
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 with comprehensive perinatal care from 20 weeks gestation through postpartum recovery
• Epic EMR system with structured orientation including EPIC training, 2 days on unit, and 2 half-days in OR
• 13-week contract with opportunity to float within Women's Services
• Scrubs provided; interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Experience with complex cases including preterm labor, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhages, and high-risk deliveries

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience with at least 400 births per month volume strongly preferred
• Current North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in: IV starts, labor inductions, managing multiple drips (Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin), epidural management, circulating in OR for C-sections, and recovering post-cesarean patients
• Ability to manage high-risk obstetrical cases including preterm deliveries, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhages
• Competency with specialty equipment including epidural pumps, PCAs, Alaris pumps, and fluid warmers
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
