Operations Director The Omnium Regional Operations Director is responsible for all aspects of operations of the Omnium manufacturing portfolio producing herbicides, insecticides, micronutrients, and plant growth regulators for Winfield United and a portfolio of strategic external toll customers. Responsibilities Provide leadership to manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, ensuring effective people and resource management. Oversee production, distribution, customer service, safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, cost control, financial reporting, employee development, and overall facility maintenance. Serve as manufacturing representative on the divisional leadership team and successfully implement strategic business plans and goals at the local level within P&L parameters. Coordinate with facility managers and divisional leadership to execute the strategic plan supporting Winfield United Post‑Patent HIF Strategy. Communicate and ensure understanding of marketplace directives, national business strategies, programs, and expectations. Develop close working relationships with customers, EH&S, Quality, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing as a team member on product development and/or customer relationship management. Collaborate with Operations Management, Quality, and R&D to resolve manufacturing and service issues. Empower facility managers with resources necessary to achieve business objectives safely and meet EHS goals. Ensure facility managers establish quality and customer‑service performance levels aligning with customer and marketplace expectations. Enforce adherence to all environmental and safety programs, policies, and procedures. Drive cost‑effective product manufacturing within government and internal quality regulations. Oversee appropriate audits and inspections to maintain compliance with performance expectations. Ensure all plants align with LOL Standard Operating Procedures. Partner with the AgBiz Operations Excellence team to develop and implement machine‑based capacity analysis for Omnium. Establish WIGs to significantly improve manufacturing efficiency and labor productivity at each site. Required Experience and Education B.S. degree with concentration in Agricultural, Mechanical, Industrial, Food, Feeds Process Engineering, or related program; a Chemical Engineering degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in the field (additional experience may replace education). Previous leadership experience in a multi‑faced team structure. Inventory management and customer service skills. Demonstrated integrity, result orientation, and talent‑leveraging. Required Competencies and Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Quick decision‑making ability and capacity to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Detail oriented, results orientation, with a high degree of personal ownership of divisional performance. Active listening and influencing‑change skills; ability to influence change and lead those who oppose it. Employee‑influencing skills to drive a safe environment. ERP system knowledge and familiarity with corporate policies. Strong team‑player with demonstrated expertise in driving collaboration. Travel and Salary Up to 40% travel.
