Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student assistant Position with the Mike Cottrell College of Business - Gainesville Campus. The Dean's Office is seeking a Student Assistant that can perform a wide variety of administrative functions to support the PROS Student Success Team. Responsibilities Provide administrative assistance to MCCB PROS Student Success staff (maintaining event/panel spaces, event registration, employer confirmations, event marketing, & event clean up). Maintain MCCB PROS Interview Office in an orderly and professional manner. Assist in resolving PROS inquiries and ensure excellent customer service to students, staff, & faculty. Receive student or employer PROS questions & request(s) and direct them to the best point of contact and/or action step. Operate a computer and use a variety of office software applications to complete projects and provide administrative support. Greet and host visitors to MCCB Gainesville Campus Dean's office Business casual attire during normal office hours Professional attire for all employer events Required Qualifications Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker. Required Documents to Attach Resume Cover Letter Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be reliable, professional, prompt, and proactive. Creative problem solving skills. Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment. Ability to operate a variety of computer and software packages, including MS Office Suite & Canva. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. for event setup/breakdown.
