Logistics Coordinator- 1st and 2nd Shift
1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Overview: Supports daily warehouse operations by managing shipping and receiving transactions, verifying inventory and documentation, and coordinating freight movement. This role works closely with warehouse teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure shipments are accurate, on time, and handled safely.
Job Duties:
- Process inbound receiving and outbound shipping transactions in the WMS.
- Verify freight, inventory, and paperwork against packing lists, bills of lading, and manifests.
- Coordinate cross-dock operations with warehouse teams, carriers, and 3PL providers.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, and system issues.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, digital documentation, and photos of damaged or non-compliant shipments.
- Monitor warehouse and dock activity to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and assist with overtime or weekend coverage as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, transportation, or cross-dock experience.
- Experience with WMS; Korber preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of shipping documents and experience working with carriers and 3PL providers.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and around moving equipment.
