Shipping ClerkReports to: Warehouse ManagerBased at: Mucci PAC Ltd., Romulus, MIType of Employment: Full time, permanent, 5/6 days a week on (10:30am - 7:30pm) and potentially extended hours depending on workload and priorities; which could include possible Sunday shifts (unless stipulated otherwise in offer of employment).Date Revised: February 19, 2025Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Must be willing and able to work a steady shift (10:30am - 7:30pm)Check all outbound scans and verify against P.O.'sPrepare outbound paperworkInspect shipment documentation for quantities, descriptions, and proper goodsConduct physical inventory and cycle counts of outbound materialsData Entry as assigned by shipping supervisor or managerInvestigate shipping related concerns/ IssuesAssign check-ins and check-outs within TMSData entry within temperature recording portalsData entry within customer platforms, (ASN, ITrade)Any other administrative duties assigned by managementEmailing Carriers PODs and following up on priority emailsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent is requiredMust have at least 1 year of experience as a shipping clerk, customs, or similar roleStrong organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of Famous is considered an assetMust be a team player, able to multi-task and learn quicklyMust have strong sense of urgencyMust be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, (verbally and written) in EnglishMust be able to function in a high capacity within a stressful work environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPhysical Abilities:Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legsMust be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbsMust be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of timeMust be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ?C / 55 ?FJob Requirements: The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example.
