About the Position

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who wants to build a career in low-voltage electrical and communications systems.

The technician will assist with installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low-voltage systems on residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and run low-voltage cable, including Cat5e/Cat6, coax, speaker, and control wiring.
• Assist with security camera, access control, alarm, data, and communications system installations.
• Pull, route, label, and organize cable neatly and according to project requirements.
• Perform basic cable termination and testing.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic test equipment safely.
• Read basic drawings, plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage wiring and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
• Work professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• Previous low-voltage, electrical, construction, or telecommunications experience is a plus but not required .
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work on ladders and in various job-site conditions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to pass required background checks or job-site requirements, if applicable.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
