Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, Travel Location: Saint Johnsbury Center, Vermont, United States Start date: 10/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $1,906-$2,022 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts (7 pm-7 am), with the ability to cover mid-shifts as needed Setting: Rural, critical access hospital in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom This Emergency Department RN role offers fast-paced, hands‑on patient care in a rural setting. The ED handles a high patient volume with nine beds and ongoing expansion; the department sees over 15,000 patients annually. The assignment is a temporary travel position; a not-for-profit, independent hospital environment with 24-hour physician‑staffed emergency coverage. Please note there is no public transportation in the area, and the closest airport is about two hours away.
