Description: 2 weekend call shifts a month when we ask for 4 shifts total - 2 weekend and 2 weeknight.

Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Yes

Locals: must be > 75 miles

RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity.

Certs: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary

Required experience: 1 year

State License: NY license is required in hand to submit

Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted

Candidates will float - yes

Charting Experience: EPIC experience is a hard requirement

Background policy: reviewed on case-by-case basis

Return staff policy: 1 year

Modules: able to bill for up to 5 hours spent on modules

Alert the account manager at time of submittal if traveler has any foreign education that will need to be verified

Modules are billable, up to 5 hours. Total module time may reach 10 hours. Any time spent in excess of 5 hours is non-billable. Modules are completed pre-start, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via facility report
