St. Paul Christian Early Learning is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Childcare to join our team in Lititz, PA! In this leadership role, you'll help shape a nurturing, faith-based environment where young children thrive and families feel supported. If you love early childhood education and have a heart for serving others, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in overseeing daily childcare center operations and staff management
- Support curriculum planning and implementation aligned with early childhood development best practices
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards
- Mentor, coach, and support classroom teachers and childcare staff
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families and communicate program updates
- Assist with enrollment, registration, and family onboarding processes
- Step in to lead the center in the Director's absence
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a childcare, preschool, or early learning setting
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a childcare environment
- Knowledge of PA childcare licensing regulations and DHS compliance standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Current or ability to obtain required clearances (FBI, PA State Police, Child Abuse History)
