An inpatient pharmacist position is available at a hospital in Utica, NY, seeking a skilled clinical pharmacist to support core pharmacy functions. This direct hire role focuses on ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the hospital setting, primarily working in the central pharmacy with some limited clinical responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense medications, including proper dosing, labeling, and handling of IV and controlled substances
• Monitor patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and resolve medication-related issues in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Provide drug information and clinical support to medical staff
• Prepare sterile products following USP guidelines, including IV admixtures and sterile compounding
• Manage pharmacy operations including inventory control, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current New York Pharmacist License is required
