Program Specialist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

EIF/the Fund reserves the right to modify the job responsibilities listed below. Serve as the primary point of contact for pathologists for autopsy services Lead all transportation coordination and routinely communicate with funeral directors, pathologist coordinators, pathologist assistants, and transport agencies Assist in growing our forensic pathologist network and public health network Manage partnerships with funeral homes, transport companies, and pathologists Develop partnerships and collaborations to further the initiatives’ objective, including attending conferences and conducting research for potential partnerships Send letters, consent forms, and documentation to relevant parties Maintain multiple data tracking spreadsheets for yearly reporting, including but not limited to budget monitoring, expense tracking, and financial reporting, and inputting information in project management platforms Ensure billing matters, invoices, and reimbursements are properly and timely dispersed Assist with case management and intake as needed based on the volume and complexity of cases as well as on a monthly basis Manage intake as needed Manage any additional team members assisting as the initiative expands Assist with onboarding and task delegation of interns and volunteers Support and strategize with Director and other team members Collaborate with team members on ways to streamline new ideas, offerings, and growth of the Initiative Collaborate with other departments and administrative staff as needed. Attend departmental and other meetings as required. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or commensurate experience in lieu of education. 5 years of relevant experience, with 2-4 years of relevant experience preferably in logistics, operations, or administrative roles. Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information and a clear understanding of privacy. Tolerance for Clinical Realities: Ability to remain calm around discussion or images related to trauma, wounds, anatomy, death, etc. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Business acumen with working knowledge of G-Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Asana.

Ability to work on-site 3 days weekly (Tuesday through Thursday), subject to change. Ability to sit for extended periods Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding Ability to use a computer Operate standard office equipment Lift and carry boxes up to ten pounds File and retrieve documents

SALARY RANGE:

$72,500- $78,000
