We're looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Pittsburgh team . In this role, you'll play a key part in driving regional growth through high-volume outbound calling, lead qualification, and appointment setting .

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound calling, lead qualification, and appointment setting. You'll be the first point of contact for many prospective clients — introducing them to Jani-King's services, asking discovery questions to understand their facility needs, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the outside sales team for in-person follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume Outreach: Drive outbound sales activity by making 100+ calls per day to targeted businesses across the Pittsburgh region.
• Qualify & Set Appointments: Establish credibility on the phone, document key information, identify fit, and secure qualified, high-value appointments for the outside sales team.
• Lead Follow-Up: Actively follow up with warm leads from inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, networking events, and prior calls.
• CRM Management: Maintain complete and accurate records of all outreach, conversations, and next steps in our CRM system.
• Partner with Field Sales: Work in lockstep with the outside sales team to align on territory strategies and share lead intelligence.
• Campaign Support: Participate in targeted call campaigns designed around industries, seasons, or special promotions.
• Professional Brand Voice: Represent Jani-King with professionalism and persistence on every call.
• Results Tracking: Monitor activity against daily, weekly, and monthly goals, using performance data to refine prospecting approaches.

What We're Looking For

• Prior telemarketing, inside sales, or outbound calling experience required
• Documented success hitting activity and appointment goals
• Excellent phone presence and rapport-building skills
• Strong organization, note-taking, and follow-through
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Team-oriented, positive, and coachable

You'll work on-site in a professional office setting that emphasizes collaboration, performance, and team engagement. The majority of your day will be dedicated to phone-based outreach and CRM work, and you'll also participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.
