Director of eCommerce – $200,000 – Miami/Fort Lauderdale:

R2 Global is working with a leading, established brand to identify an experienced Director of eCommerce to spearhead the launch and growth of an exciting new Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform, built on Shopify Plus.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded eCommerce leader who knows how to build a DTC business from the ground up, develop a clear growth strategy, and turn it into a profitable, scalable operation. You will play a key role in shaping the brand's online presence, owning the overall eCommerce strategy and performance, and building the processes, systems and team needed to support long-term success.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong understanding of the full DTC ecosystem. From Shopify Plus and site optimisation to email, SMS, loyalty, paid social and customer retention, you will be responsible for driving performance across the entire customer journey.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, you will take ownership of the commercial performance of the platform, including revenue growth, customer acquisition costs, retention, lifetime value and overall P&L. What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a Director of eCommerce, Head of eCommerce or equivalent senior leadership position.
• A strong track record of building, launching and scaling DTC brands, ideally taking a business or platform from the ground up.
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Plus, including site operations, optimisation, integrations and the wider eCommerce technology stack.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning eCommerce P&L, revenue targets, profitability, CAC, LTV, retention and overall business performance.
• Hands-on experience across key DTC growth channels, including email marketing, SMS, loyalty programmes, paid social and customer lifecycle marketing.
• A solid understanding of customer acquisition, conversion rate optimisation, merchandising and strategies to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
• Experience managing external agencies and strategic partners, ensuring they deliver against commercial objectives and growth targets.
• The ability to develop and execute a clear DTC strategy while remaining close enough to the day-to-day operation to drive results.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, develop and lead a high-performing eCommerce team.
• A data-driven mindset, using analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities, improve efficiency and make informed commercial decisions.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership and deliver measurable results.
