Payroll Specialist

Crozat Management Services LLC (CMS) is a management company for G&C Auto Body and has an opening for an onsite Payroll Specialist based in Santa Rosa, CA. Paid holidays, PTO and Sick Leave Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch. (Note: possible overtime as needed to support company operations) Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialistposition: Collecting and entering timesheet data and payroll information. Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc. Preparing and processing paychecks Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions. Preparing and distributing wage related statements. Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns. Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations. Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management. Requirements of the Payroll Specialist position: Experience utilizing Paylocity highly preferred. A degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience in high volume payroll, 5 years preferred. Experience handling complex payroll Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices. Experience working with accounting and payroll software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. High numerical aptitude. Detail-oriented.
