Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials (or eligibility to obtain required certification)
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, ideally at the high school level
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic classroom environment

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individualized instruction based on student IEPs, modifying content to meet diverse learning needs
• Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress, collecting necessary data and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop holistic support plans
• Create a positive and encouraging learning space for all students
• Participate in relevant professional development and staff meetings
