We're looking for dependable Custodians to help keep campus facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do

• Keep classrooms, offices, residence halls, common areas, and athletic facilities clean and ready for daily use.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.

• Clean and restock restrooms.

• Empty trash and recycling containers.

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, fixtures, carpets, and floors.

• Perform floor care duties, including scrubbing, polishing, and spot cleaning.

• Replace light bulbs and report maintenance, safety, or security concerns.

• Lock and unlock buildings as assigned.

• Help maintain safe walkways, including snow and ice removal when needed.

• Move between different campus areas based on operational needs.

• Provide friendly and professional service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

What We're Looking For

• 6 months to 1 year of custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or related cleaning experience preferred.

• Experience with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom sanitation.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Ability to bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.

• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

Available Shifts

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday

• 5:30 PM - 2:00 AM

3rd Shift

• Sunday Night-Friday Morning

• 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Work Environment

This is an active, fast-paced position that involves working throughout campus facilities, including administrative buildings, residence halls, classrooms, and athletic facilities.

You'll be on your feet for most of the shift and play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the entire campus community.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
