Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Call for Salary Rate - Job Summary: Seeking a Float Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care across multiple units including Medical Care, Post-Surgical, and Intermediate Care Units. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to respond effectively to evolving patient needs. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans within the scope of practice outlined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records. Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations, demonstrating effective crisis management skills. Qualifications: Recent hospital experience within the past five years, with at least two years of medical surgical nursing experience. Possess an Oregon nursing license or be willing to obtain one. Maintain current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications or be willing to obtain. Flexibility to float between Medical Care, Post-Surgical, and Intermediate Care Units. Demonstrate strong teaching, communication, and critical thinking skills.
