Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12, Nights with guaranteed weekly hours of 36. Schedule may include weekends and holidays.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process. The role is accountable for individualized patient outcomes through comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Coordinate care among healthcare professionals.
• Pass required telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythms.
• Provide comprehensive nursing services according to age-specific competency standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NV RN license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2+ years' Med Surg/Tele experience.
• Prior travel experience with at least one 13-week assignment is required.
