VP Digital and Growth Marketing

Title: VP Digital and Growth Marketing Location: St. Louis, MO preferred; open to fully remote Compensation: ~$150K base salary + bonus Travel: Approximately one week per month for candidates not based in St. Louis About the Opportunity We're looking for a strategic, hands-on VP of Digital and Growth Marketing to lead customer acquisition, demand generation, and digital growth strategy across a multi-market, service-based organization. This role will own the strategy behind driving qualified leads, improving conversion, and maximizing marketing efficiency across multiple U.S. markets. The ideal candidate is a modern growth marketer who can set the broader vision while staying close enough to execution to identify opportunities, test new ideas, and continuously improve performance. We're looking for someone who brings deep digital expertise, an analytical mindset, and a proven track record of generating measurable growth within a service-based business. Experience within home services or another multi-location consumer services environment is highly preferred. What You'll Do Lead digital and growth marketing strategy across multiple U.S. markets, with a focus on increasing qualified lead volume, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Own and optimize omnichannel acquisition efforts across paid search, paid social, local digital marketing, retargeting, email, SMS, landing pages, and other conversion-focused programs. Develop and execute strategies that improve lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, customer acquisition efficiency, and overall return on marketing investment. Leverage social media as part of the broader growth strategy, using channel-specific content, audience targeting, and paid support to drive measurable results. Manage and evaluate lead aggregators and third-party lead sources, continuously assessing lead flow, quality, cost, and conversion. Build and refine email and SMS strategies supporting acquisition, nurture, re-engagement, and conversion. Monitor performance across campaigns, channels, and markets, translating data into actionable insights and growth opportunities. Test and optimize messaging, offers, audience targeting, landing pages, and conversion paths to improve overall funnel performance. Partner closely with executive leadership and internal marketing stakeholders to align digital and growth strategy with broader business objectives and individual market needs. Identify emerging channels, technologies, and customer acquisition opportunities that can unlock incremental growth. Bring fresh thinking to the organization’s marketing approach, challenging existing strategies and identifying opportunities to modernize how the business attracts and converts customers. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, performance marketing, demand generation, or customer acquisition within a service-based business. Proven success developing and scaling growth strategies that deliver measurable improvements in lead volume, lead quality, customer acquisition, and revenue. Strong experience across paid media, digital acquisition, social media, email marketing, SMS, retargeting, and conversion optimization. Experience working with lead aggregators and third-party lead-generation platforms. Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and how individual channels work together to support acquisition, nurture, and conversion. Data-driven approach with experience using reporting and performance insights to continuously evolve strategy and allocate marketing investment. Comfort measuring performance against KPIs such as lead volume, lead quality, conversion rate, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, and ROI. Ability to operate as a senior strategic leader while remaining hands-on enough to understand execution, identify opportunities, and solve problems quickly. Experience within home services is strongly preferred , including moving, lawn care, security, home improvement, painting, fencing, gutter protection, or similar residential service categories.
