Overview
Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Travel) in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date: October 11, 2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,091 to $2,170. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12). Travel assignment in a hospital telemetry unit requiring adaptability to unit needs. This assignment includes occasional float to related med-surg/tele units based on divisional needs and requires coverage for weekends and major holidays as noted.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on telemetry with attention to cardiac rhythm monitoring
- Interpret rhythm strips, respond promptly to telemetry alarms, and escalate changes as appropriate
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient responses and document findings
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team; communicate changes and plan of care
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, assist with activities of daily living, and manage equipment and lines as needed
- Document care and assessments in the electronic medical record; ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Float to adjacent med-surg/telemetry units as needed to support unit operations and patient needs

Requirements
- Licenses: Kansas RN license; BLS certification required
- Education: Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
- Credentialing: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and to float to related units as needed
- Capacity to work in a general med-surg/telemetry unit and comply with unit policies
