Lead Lab Analyst II

The Lead Generation Laboratory is hiring an analyst to power Cerity Partners’ data‑driven prospecting engine. This team sits at the heart of the firm’s growth strategy – translating raw market signals, enrichment data, and internal relationship intelligence into high‑quality, actionable leads for the Capital Solutions and Practice Development teams. Sitting within our Operations organization, the analyst will work closely with the Concierge Desk, Capital Solutions, and practice‑specific business development contacts. Primary Responsibilities: Signal Sourcing & New Lead Generation Monitor SEC Form 4 and Form 144 filings, M&A transaction announcements, and property records for liquidity events and wealth‑generating triggers Convert cold signal‑based leads into warm opportunities by identifying relationship paths, enriching contact data, and flagging institutional connections Respond to PDO- and Practice‑specific targeting requests (e.g., "business owners within 30 miles of Chicago with $3M+ investable assets") with researched, scored lead lists Deliver weekly scored lead batches to the Concierge Desk, complete with outreach recommendations and supporting data Surface leads from existing client networks and COI referral relationships Use tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Equilar, FinSearch, and Clay to identify and qualify prospective clients Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 1‑4 years of experience in financial services, wealth management research, investment banking, data analysis, or a related field Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms; comfort working with structured data Deep expertise in efficiency and process optimization through AI tools Preferred Qualifications Understanding of SEC filings (Form 4, Form 144) or M&A processes Experience with financial data tools: Equilar, Windfall, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, FinSearch, AceIdentify, or similar Skills and Competencies: Strong research instincts and the ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources into coherent, actionable outputs Detail‑oriented and organized, with strong written communication skills Collaborative mindset – able to work across practice groups, business development teams, and technology counterparts Must accept and thrive in a fast‑moving, build‑phase environment Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasional travel to firm offices or team meetings may be required Compensation Range $85,000‑$95,000 Why Cerity Partners: Health, dental, and vision insurance – day 1! 401(k) savings and investment plan options with 4% match Flexible PTO policy Parental leave Financial assistance for advanced education and professional designations Opportunity to give back time to local communities Commuter benefits Cerity Partners is committed to providing an environment where all individuals can be their authentic selves.
