Customer Service/Sales Representative

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team. This position plays an important role in providing a high level of service to our customers while supporting daily sales order processing, customer inquiries, and administrative operations.

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can manage a high volume of incoming calls, accurately process customer orders, address questions and concerns, and coordinate information with other departments as needed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 is required. Familiarity with Allegheny County and surrounding communities is highly preferred, particularly when assisting with service areas, locations, directions, and delivery-related questions.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and manage a high volume of incoming customer calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, pricing, orders, and deliveries.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, including customer information, products, quantities, pricing, and delivery details.
• Address customer questions, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, order, and delivery information.
• Coordinate with coworkers and other departments to ensure customer needs are handled efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, email, and other forms of business communication.
• Prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, for daily business activities.
• Assist customers with service areas, locations, directions, and delivery-related questions.
• Maintain professionalism, patience, and composure when handling challenging or time-sensitive situations.
• Follow established company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Perform additional customer service and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, inside sales, order entry, or a related role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Effective listening, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage a high volume of customer interactions efficiently and professionally.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience entering and processing sales orders accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to remain professional and solution-oriented when addressing customer concerns.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Allegheny County and surrounding communities is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
