Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Experience providing home health physical therapy services required.
• Ability to perform patient evaluations and deliver skilled PT interventions per physician orders.
• Experience supervising and evaluating PTAs and Home Health Aides preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance required for home visits.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions, electronic documentation, and online training platforms preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Home Health.
• Shift: Evenings, 5x8.
• Responsibilities: Perform patient evaluations, implement therapeutic services per physician orders, document patient progress, and participate in care planning and discharge coordination.
• Supervisory Role: May directly supervise and evaluate PTAs and Home Health Aides as assigned.
