You arrive for a full-time afternoon start and step into a fast-moving direct mail manufacturing environment. You review job tickets, set up your machine to spec, and run quality checks. During production, you adjust equipment to maintain speed and accuracy, minimize cost-related errors, and ensure client expectations are exceeded. You log updates for the next crew, escalate issues promptly to management with recommended actions, and keep safety front and center. When a line goes down, you troubleshoot quickly, coordinate with teammates, and get us back on track.

• Operate, maintain, and adjust production equipment to meet job instructions and quality standards.
• Perform set-ups and changeovers efficiently to hit daily production goals.
• Continuously monitor output, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety policies and departmental SOPs (including lock-out/tag-out and HazCom).
• Communicate clearly at shift change and facilitate teamwork between crews.
• Document job status and raise developing problems to management with corrective plans.
• Act with urgency during equipment downtime to maintain production requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to increase throughput and quality.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team success.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred); willing to train motivated learners.
• Manual dexterity and strong mechanical aptitude; able to install, maintain, and repair equipment safely.
• Understanding of predictive and productive maintenance practices.
• Ability to stand for long periods on concrete (10–12 hours), bend, and perform repetitive motions.
• Able to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
