Construction Inspector – Sewer Rehabilitation Project Boulder City, NV Seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to support a federal utility infrastructure project at the Mead Substation near Boulder City, Nevada. This project involves inspection and oversight of sewer line remediation and replacement work, including CIPP lining, pipe bursting, excavation, utility protection, testing, and final acceptance activities. The assignment is expected to last approximately 3–4 months (80 working days) with significant overtime available. What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Approximately 20 hours of overtime per week $178/day per diem for qualified non-local candidates Lodging and travel reimbursement in accordance with project requirements Opportunity to support a critical federal infrastructure project Responsibilities The Construction Inspector will serve as the owner's on-site representative and will be responsible for monitoring contractor performance, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. Responsibilities include: Daily construction inspection and documentation Preparing electronic daily reports with photographs Monitoring excavation and underground utility work Witnessing utility locating and ground grid exposure activities Inspecting sewer rehabilitation and replacement operations Observing pipe bursting and sewer line replacement work Verifying proper installation of sewer clean-outs and related components Witnessing leak testing and code compliance testing Reviewing contractor documentation and as-built recordsCoordinating with project stakeholders and project management personnel Tracking schedule progress, safety compliance, and quality issues Reviewing contractor invoices and verifying completed work Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction inspection experience Experience with underground utilities, sewer systems, water/wastewater infrastructure, civil construction, or utility construction projects Ability to prepare detailed daily reports and construction documentation Strong understanding of construction safety practices and quality assurance procedures Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems Valid driver's license and ability to travel Preferred Qualifications Experience with sewer rehabilitation projects Experience with CIPP lining, pipe bursting, or utility replacement projects OSHA 30 Certification Utility, water/wastewater, or civil infrastructure inspection background Existing WAPA site access credentials or prior WAPA project experience Project Information Location: Mead Substation – Boulder City, NV Duration: Approximately 16 weeks Estimated Workload: 640 regular hours plus approximately 320 overtime hours Start Date: TBD If you have experience inspecting underground utility or infrastructure projects and are interested in a travel assignment with substantial overtime opportunities, we'd like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ozell Services
