Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer blood and electrolyte replacement procedures accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Perform sterile dressing changes following strict infection prevention protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status and vital signs, escalating concerns as needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document care activities and patient responses using Meditech EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and dress code requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with at least 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement processes.
  
  
• 
  Familiarity with ports, central lines, and sterile dressing procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a patient-centered approach.
  
  
• 
  Excellent clinical and communication skills.
