It provides patients a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services as well as heart and vascular care. Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for assigned specialty and OR procedures. Serve as liaison between specialty physicians and hospital; review and maintain physician preference cards. Maintain proper function of equipment in assigned specialty. Serve as a clinical preceptor/mentor for orienteer and existing staff; provide training sessions on new equipment and instrumentation. Provide feedback to management regarding staff evaluations. Manage inventory of specialty supplies to maintain par levels; review case cart supplies for accuracy and cost effectiveness. Meet with vendors and serve as liaison between them, management, and physicians.
