BK Kids Pediatric Therapy is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team.

We're a small, family-owned pediatric Occupational and Speech Therapy clinic in Joliet, Illinois. We're building a practice where therapists can do what they love, have a life outside of work, and have opportunities to grow professionally as the clinic grows.

This isn't just another pediatric OT position. We're looking for an experienced therapist who wants to become an important part of our team and help shape the future of our growing practice.

What You'll Do

You'll evaluate and provide individualized occupational therapy treatment to children with a variety of developmental and functional needs.

Treatment areas may include:

• Sensory processing and self-regulation
• Fine motor and visual-motor development
• Coordination and strength
• Activities of daily living and self-care
• Executive functioning
• Emotional regulation
• Developmental delays
• Reflex integration
• School readiness
• Functional participation at home, school, and in the community

You'll work closely with children and their families while collaborating with other members of our therapy team.

Who We're Looking For

We're specifically looking for a solid, experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is confident stepping into a pediatric caseload.

Our ideal therapist:

• Holds an active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
• Has previous pediatric occupational therapy experience
• Is confident performing pediatric evaluations and developing plans of care
• Can independently manage treatment planning and documentation
• Has experience with a variety of pediatric diagnoses and developmental needs
• Understands sensory processing and regulation
• Provides individualized, functional and play-based treatment
• Communicates effectively with parents and caregivers
• Is dependable and organized
• Enjoys collaborating with other therapists
• Wants to continue growing professionally
• Is interested in becoming a long-term part of a growing practice

Because of the needs of our current caseload, previous pediatric experience is required. We are not able to consider new graduates for this position at this time.
