Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Med Surg and ER

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours a week, with block scheduling preferred of 6 on and 8 off.

The Supervisor/Charge Nurse will oversee the Med Surg and ER departments as a working supervisor. This position requires applying nursing experience in both settings to ensure quality patient care and effective departmental operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff in the Med Surg and ER departments.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in patient care.
• Facilitate communication between departments and promote teamwork.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Manage daily operations effectively and efficiently.

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Please submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education or training received.
