Job Title: In-House Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Enterprise)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (On-site / In-house at J&F Dental Labs – 1861 Golden Mile Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15239)

About the Role
J&F Dental Labs is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented In-House Bookkeeper to work with the owner on all day-to-day accounting functions. This is a hands-on role focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Enterprise .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable: enter vendor bills, process payments, and maintain accurate vendor records
• Manage accounts receivable and collections: create and send invoices, apply payments, follow up on past-due accounts, and help reduce outstanding balances
• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Enterprise (bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close)
• Maintain clean, organized financial records and the chart of accounts
• Generate and deliver timely financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, A/R and A/P aging, cash flow) for the owner
• Support other accounting functions as needed (1099s, sales tax, year-end preparation, coordination with external CPA)
• Work directly with the owner on priorities, cash-flow visibility, and process improvements

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience with strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise (Desktop/Enterprise experience preferred over Online)
• Solid hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Comfortable working closely with the business owner in a small-company environment
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus

Preferred

• Experience in a small-to-medium business or service-based company
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or similar
• Prior experience supporting collections efforts
