Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role involves working in a 39-bed Emergency Room, providing care to all ages, including high-acuity cases such as stroke and STEMI, as well as managing a dedicated area for psychiatric patients. The environment is dynamic and high-pressure, with a patient ratio of 1:4, staffed with ER techs, HUC, charge nurse, and 24/7 RT and hospitalist support.

Key Responsibilities of the ER RN

• Provide emergency care to all ages, managing high-acuity conditions
• Conduct trach care, vent care, and ICU drip maintenance
• Apply and care for splints/Ortho devices
• Utilize EMR systems (Cerner) and operate medical equipment (Plum 360, Omnicell)
• Work collaboratively with ER techs, RT, and hospitalist staff

Requirements of the ER RN

• Minimum 1 year of ER experience
• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• Strong skills in ICU procedures, including CVL and bipap/hiflow
