Travel RN - Emergency Department (ED) - 7P - 7A

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN for our Emergency Department. In this role, the nurse will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, assisting in a variety of medical emergencies and trauma cases.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Perform procedures such as central line insertions, intubations, and chest tube placements.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EMR software.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1-year current experience in an acute care hospital Emergency Department (ED).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
• ENPC and IO training preferred.
