Project Engineer

Job Description: Working with projects managers on all aspects of a project from bid through project close out Assisting in bidding out projects to subcontractors, estimating for self-performed work and preparing proposals Assisting project manager with prime contract and issuing subcontracts Integral part of the construction team, working on submittals, change orders, RFI's, project documents, project meetings, invoicing owner, reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices and overall project processesLiaison between office and field Participate in trade shows and industry organizations
Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a preference in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum of 1 ½+ years' experience as a project engineer Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Project Good understanding of all trades-including MEP Strong communication skills both verbal and written Client centered xhyhwjd approach with a focus on customer development and satisfaction Possess a "do whatever it takes" attitude Creative thinker who is willing to think outside the box to achieve client goals Autonomous individual who enjoys working with a team Self-starter Excellent time management skills, fully able to set own schedule
