Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $19/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Employment Solutions is hiring for our client in Vernon, CT!

We are looking for a motivated candidate to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of property grounds. This role combines exterior grounds upkeep with light interior maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Grounds Maintenance:

Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain landscaped areas
Trim bushes, hedges, and overgrown vegetation
Remove trash and debris from outdoor areas, walkways, and parking lots
Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and light snow clearing

Maintenance & Light Upkeep:

Perform minor repairs and upkeep in units and common areas (e.g., unclog toilets, fix minor issues)
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and shared spaces
Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards

Qualifications:

Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and maintaining property appearance
