Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Educator Certification with Vision endorsement
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with K–8 students with visual impairments
• Willingness to travel between schools daily within the assigned clusters
• District background check, fingerprinting, and required forms
• Flexibility and adaptability in different school settings

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students (K–8)
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers
• Assess student needs and help develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Itinerant position overseeing a small, manageable caseload (approximately 12 students)
• Documentation and communication with school staff and families
