BOM Coordinator

Job Description

Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed, multi-level BOMs for robotic systems, material handling equipment, conveyors, safety components, and other electro-mechanical assemblies.
Create and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), including drawing releases and BOM updates.
Develop and maintain tools and calculators that support change management, such as tracking as-designed vs. as-built deviations, field and manufacturing redlines, and retrofits to installed systems.
Partner with cross-functional engineering and design teams to compile BOM documentation, including integrated third-party equipment and recommended spare parts lists.
Support accurate, on-time release of project deliverables within a phase-gate development process.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience creating and maintaining BOMs for large electro-mechanical assemblies and systems (deep multi-level structures with thousands of unique components).
Hands-on experience with a PLM system (Teamcenter preferred).
Highly detail-oriented and schedule-driven.
SolidWorks experience is a plus.
Background in material handling or automation systems is a plus.
