Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a central role in managing day-to-day general accounting operations, ensuring precision and integrity across all financial transactions. Key responsibilities include month-end closing procedures, balance sheet account reconciliations and monthly general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with robust GAAP knowledge, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at managing cross-functional tasks while adapting to shifting priorities. Key Responsibilities: Execute core day-to-day accounting activities and month-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries (cash, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, intercompany transactions) and managing balance sheet reconciliations. Perform monthly review of numerous unconsolidated trial balances and general ledger balance sheet accounts, maintaining accurate schedules for intercompany accounts and elimination entries Support internal and external audit requests for reviews and annual year-end audits. Partner with field accounting teams and corporate management to review monthly financial activity. Compile internal management reports and schedules and analyze financial data to identify insights and operational value. Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to support business expansion into new and existing markets. Assist with technical accounting areas and ad-hoc operational initiatives as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Stable job tenure with 4 or more years of general ledger accounting and financial analysis experience. Strong foundation in US GAAP, general ledger debits and credits workflow, financial statement analysis and review Advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) Experience handling intercompany transactions and multi-entity environments.
