Sr. FP&A Manager

Key Responsibilities Lead the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets. Oversee program budget preparation, execution, and cost controls; monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance; identify trends and highlight opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and projections for executive leadership to support strategic decision‑making. Serve as the primary financial liaison between multiple teams and business operations, ensuring financial responsibilities are fulfilled. Analyze actuals and forecasts to formulate indirect rates, own key deliverables supporting Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and Company Strategic Plans. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to drive operational efficiency. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and building a high‑performing finance team. Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect organizational assets and ensure financial stability. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections. Demonstrated experience of analyzing financial statements. Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews. Proficient with Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience in management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical role in business, program or operations management. Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools. Strong background in DoD, government contracting. Experience in a public company environment. Advanced knowledge of indirect rate composition. Proficient with Oracle EPM for financial planning. Eligibility To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce. Compensation Pay Range: $158,696.00 – $218,228.00. Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
