Job Summary:
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP Pediatrics) located in Oakland, California. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to pediatric patients in a hospital setting, including assessments, dysphagia management, and caregiver education. Job Details:

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist Pediatrics (CCC-SLP)
• Location: Oakland, CA
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (Monday - Friday)
• Schedule: Days, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification, ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), California state license in hand or pending (expected 4-6 weeks), minimum of 2 years of professional experience (including at least 1 year hospital experience), and experience with pediatric dysphagia, bedside swallow evaluations, and infant feeding.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in NICU, PICU, pediatric inpatient rehab, outpatient pediatric clinics, and Level III NICU experience.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, proficient in electronic medical records such as Epic, Meditech, Cerner, Centricity, Raintree. Previous travel experience is preferred. Candidate highlights include extensive pediatric neuro therapy expertise, equipment use, and caregiver education.
• Vaccinations: Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 (with booster if applicable) and flu vaccine.
• Submission Requirements: Two references from the most recent employer; California license in progress for candidates pending licensure.
