New Mediterranean Inspired Bar & Restaurant | Glendale, CA
We're looking for an experienced, passionate Line Cook to join the opening team of an exciting new Mediterranean-inspired bar and restaurant in Glendale.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new concept focused on fresh, high-quality ingredients, vibrant flavors, and genuine hospitality. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in your craft, and enjoy working with a strong team, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities- Prepare and execute menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Work efficiently during high-volume service
- Assist with prep, stocking, and station setup
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with chefs and front-of-house staff
- Help maintain consistency and quality in every dish served
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Mediterranean cuisine experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain one before starting)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
