Location: Washington, D.C (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to support a large-scale modernization initiative involving the replacement of a legacy procurement system with a modern cloud-based solution. The specialist will focus on driving user adoption, managing organizational change, and ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply structured change management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Develop and execute change management strategies to support system adoption
• Assess change impacts, readiness, and stakeholder needs
• Design, develop, and deliver clear communication materials for diverse audiences
• Coordinate and support training activities, including scheduling and documentation
• Create stakeholder communication plans and training plans
• Support organizational changes, including role definitions and policy updates
• Collaborate with the Change Manager, PMO, and cross-functional teams
• Track risks, issues, and action items and update project logs as required
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and briefings using video conferencing tools
• Develop job aids, quick reference guides, and process documentation
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation in Microsoft Teams

Required Qualifications

Skill: Required / Desired Years of Experience

Bachelors degree in Change Management, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience: Required 20 Years

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): Required 16 Years

Change management documentation with demonstrated writing and editing skills: Required 16 Years

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages and tailor documents to different audiences: Required 16 Years

Ability to collaborate with others, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously: Required 16 Years

Willingness to work onsite four (4) days per week: Required N/A (Mandatory)

Experience or familiarity with contract law or procurement processes: Desired
