Make a difference in the lives of students by providing crucial psychological services for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract position offers the opportunity to support elementary and middle school students and work alongside dedicated educators and families.
You will serve in one building, collaborating with K-5th (caseload of 25-35 students) and 6th-8th grade students (caseload of 20-30 students). Your expertise will be key in fostering academic, emotional, and behavioral growth throughout the school year.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students requiring psychological support
- Provide individual and group counseling as well as behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student well-being and effective educational strategies
- Assist in crisis intervention support and comprehensive student safety planning
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate evaluations, progress, and recommendations to team members
What we’re seeking:
- Current Minnesota School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly working with K-8 populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and behavior management
- Dedication to creating a positive, supportive environment for students and staff
This contract opportunity offers a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 31, 2026 through June 4, 2027.
