We are a rapidly growing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company specializing in respiratory care, seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their clinical knowledge while enjoying a stable Monday-Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends. No prior DME experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed. What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant on our team, you'll work alongside our Respiratory Therapists and clinical staff to support patients receiving: Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) CPAP and BiPAP therapy Home oxygen therapy Other respiratory equipment and supplies You'll help coordinate patient care, educate patients on equipment basics, communicate with physicians and referral sources, assist with documentation, schedule follow-up care, and ensure every patient receives exceptional service throughout their treatment journey. This role is less hands-on clinically than a Respiratory Therapist position but plays a vital role in helping patients succeed with their respiratory therapy. What We're Looking For Medical Assistant certification or relevant healthcare experience Outstanding communication and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-first attitude Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast paced environment Willingness to learn and grow, we'll teach you the DME side of respiratory care Healthcare experience in any of the following settings is highly valued: Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Home Health or Hospice Pulmonary or Sleep Medicine Practice Other patient-facing healthcare environments Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
