Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations, providing transparent explanations at every stage of the process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic images
• Operate ultrasound equipment competently, reporting any technical issues immediately
• Keep accurate documentation and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
