Associate, Chief of Staff Job Description HITT is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Associate to support the Enterprise Chief of Staff and strengthen the effectiveness of the Executive Office. This role requires someone who operates with a strong respect for detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that work is prepared, coordinated, and delivered with consistency and precision. Operating under the direction of the Enterprise Chief of Staff and in close partnership with the Executive Business Partner (EBP), this individual supports the flow of work across the Executive Office—ensuring materials, governance processes, and executive priorities are organized, aligned, and executed to a high standard. This role contributes directly to the preparation and quality of key outputs such as agendas, presentations, decisions, and follow-through, while also owning select workflows and coordination mechanisms across the enterprise. The Associate Chief of Staff plays a critical role in maintaining structure, supporting execution, and reinforcing standards across teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, and a proactive approach to connecting work across departments to ensure alignment and progress. Responsibilities Meeting Coordination Governance Tracking Planning & Workflow Management Presentation Development Enterprise Coordination Special Projects & Execution Support Qualifications 3–6 years of professional experience in operations, project coordination, consulting, or a related field Experience supporting senior leaders or working within executive-level workflows preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrated ability to execute non-routine tasks, resolve issues independently, and elevate complex matters appropriately Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise materials Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across functions and levels Ability to connect information across teams and identify opportunities for alignment and efficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Proficiency in Adobe InDesign required Experience with project management or work tracking tools (e.g., Asana) Experience in construction, real estate, or the built environment preferred HITT Contracting is an equal opportunity employer.
