Position Overview
healthcare facility in southeastern Arizona is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its inpatient Med/Surg team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to patients across acute and inpatient settings. The position includes weekend and holiday rotation coverage and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Provide patient and caregiver education, including home exercise programs and safety strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on care planning and discharge coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• dapt treatment approaches based on patient progress and clinical findings

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• ctive Physical Therapy license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings
• Exposure to inpatient, outpatient, or acute rehab environments
