Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Must be comfortable performing 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions. Proven ability to complete timely and compliant documentation including evaluations, goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and infection control practices. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and participate in student clinical education when assigned. Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements. Preferred: prior experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic and familiarity with industry clinical performance improvement processes. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient Duration: 13 week assignment Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule Scope of Care: 60 minute initial evaluations and treatment sessions as indicated. Clinical Responsibilities: Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document per clinic and payer requirements, and participate in performance improvement activities.
