Underwriting Assistant
Support the Underwriting team and act as the owner and principal facilitator of assigned accounts. Perform front-to-end activities throughout the life cycle of renewal and prospect accounts with Underwriting oversight. Opportunities supporting Middle Market Excess Casualty and Ocean Marine lines of business.
Essential responsibilities include pre-underwriting, evaluating risk, communicating with Brokers, applying product underwriting rules, collaborating with Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and internal units, managing workflow, and utilizing the SalesForce platform.
Required skills and abilities include a Bachelor's degree or related insurance experience, robust interpersonal skills, prioritization and time management skills, competency in Microsoft Office, excellent written and oral communication skills.
