Director, Global AI Product Enablement - Medical Affairs.

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director to lead Medical Affairs AI product strategy and transformation. This high-impact role owns end-to-end AI product vision, roadmap execution, and business value delivery across the Medical Affairs Technology portfolio, operating through influence-based leadership in a global matrix organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain 3-year AI product roadmap aligned to Medical Affairs strategic priorities
- Own end-to-end accountability for business outcomes and value delivery across MAT portfolio
- Define and track KPIs for adoption, user engagement, and business impact
- Partner with IT, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure products align with vision and user needs
- Champion AI adoption and design enablement programs moving teams toward sustained usage
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus 12+ years in AI, data, or digital product roles
- Master's degree plus 10+ years experience in AI, data, or digital domains (alternative)
- Proven track record owning AI or digital product strategy in regulated environments
- Hands-on familiarity with modern AI technologies including RAG, LLMs, and agentic frameworks
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders across global, matrixed organizations
- Understanding of AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI principles
- Life sciences, Medical Affairs, or clinical domain experience preferred
